Nu släpper Lil Tjay sitt efterlängtade andra album, ”Destined 2 Win” via Columbia Records. 19-åringen från södra Bronx i New York gästas av storheter som 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo, Offset, Saweetie, Toosi och Tyga på nya 21-spåriga albumet.
”The reason I named the album Destined 2 Win cause I always felt like I had something in me that was going to be great. It’s just a body of work to highlight my accomplishments,” säger Lil Tjay. “I’m still trying to figure out my lane. Whatever happened in my life is what got me here. If I didn’t go through some of these experiences then I probably wouldn’t be myself. There’s always obstacles, I’m pretty sure there’s going to be more obstacles and I just know I’m going to be able to fight through it. You know? Destined 2 Win.”
Singeln “Calling My Phone” feat. 6LACK från nya albumet gick direkt in som #3 på Billboard Hot 100 när den släpptes i februari och gav honom därmed hans högsta listplacering i karriären. Här i Sverige klättrade låten snabbt upp på Spotify Topp 50 till plats 13. Senaste låtsläppet ”Headshot” gör Lil Tjay tillsammans med Polo G och Fivio Foreign, även de signade till Columbia Records.
